Bettsville K-12 closed Friday due to widespread illness

Bettsville K-12 will be closed Friday due to 20 percent of its 160 students out with illnesses, according to Principal Michelle Dantuono.

Dantuono said most of the other students are coughing and sneezing in class, so they decided to close tomorrow.

Illnesses include strep, croup, bronchitis, pneumonia, and several strains of flu.
