Morning snow showers will make things slick in spots before the flakes taper off toward mid-morning.  The real story of the day will be the cold and frigid windchills.  Skies will be mostly cloudy and it will be breezy right into this evening.  Highs get into the mid 20's, a good ten degress below seasonal norms, this afternoon but it will be breezy with winds out of the west at 15 to 25 MPH.  Feels-like temps will be in the single digits and lower teens throughout the day.  Cover up all exposed skin to fight frostbite with prolonged exposure outdoors!

Overnight the winds diminish and the clouds begin to part.  That will lead to some radiational cooling and another frigid start to the day Thursday with lows in the lower teens by sunrise.  Sunshine and light winds will make things look a lot nicer tomorrow but it will be even colder than what we see today as far as actual temps go.  Highs will top out in the mid 20's.

We cloud up Thursday night and that will lead to an interesting day on Friday.  Just in time to kick off the weekend snow and a wintery mix move in for the morning commute Friday.  We will be right on the rain/snow line - but as of this post, analysis of the mid morning models, it looks like we will be seeing very little in the way of accumulations down towards Findlay by late afternoon - with close to four inches of snow and slush in SE Michigan. Stay tuned - but one thing is sure and that is a likely wintery mess in store for early and late rush hour drives on Friday.

If there is any good news it is that things look quiet and much milder over the weekend with highs near 40 degrees both Saturday and Sunday.
