A Findlay man is in critical condition after he was ejected from his vehicle during a rollover crash that shut down all lanes of I-75 from the State Route 582 to the Bowling Green exits on Thursday morning.

According to the State Highway Patrol, 47-year-old David Barnd, Jr. was traveling northbound around 7 a.m. when he went off the left side of the roadway and struck the median. The vehicle then overturned several times before coming to rest in the southbound lanes. Barnd was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and came to rest in the median.

Authorities shut down all lanes of I-75 in order for Life Flight to airlift Barnd from the scene of the crash.

Troopers report Barnd was not wearing his seat belt and that alcohol or drugs are suspected to be a factor. The incident remains under investigation.
