TOLEDO -- Northwest Ohio's American Idol runner-up is coming out with a new album.

Elliston native Crystal Bowersox says she's working on a new album that will debut in March.

Bowersox is collaborating with Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and Jakob Dylan will be a guest musician on the album.

She rose to fame in 2010 when she came in second in the American Idol competition.

Bowersox now lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and son.,
