OTTAWA COUNTY -- Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate a head on car crash in Ottawa County.
The accident happened after 5:30 PM Friday night on East Bayshore Road near State Route 269.
Two people in a GMC pickup were sent to the hospital. Driver Thomas Tanner of Lakeside Marblehead suffered serious injuries. Passenger Robert Wisniewski suffered only minor injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, Jacob Burns wasn't injured. He lost control of his vehicle on icy roads and was cited for driving left of center of the road.
Police say alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor.
