Therese is a California girl, born and raised, and the oldest of three. As the daughter of a football coach and a physical education teacher, she has been
immersed in sports since birth.
Growing up, Therese played any and every sport she could. When she got to high school, Therese focused on volleyball, basketball and track. She was a
four year varsity letter winner in volleyball at Presentation High School in San Jose, where she helped her team win two section titles and a Northern California title.
After graduating, Therese went on to play volleyball at the University of Colorado (Go Buffs!), where she was a four year varsity letter winner, 1st Team
All-Academic for the Big 12, and an honoree of the Big 12 Good Works award.
While at Colorado, Therese earned a degree in Broadcast News from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor degree in Political Science. She used this training to land a freelance job with a television show called Cal-Hi Sports Bay Area. Over the course of three years, Therese worked her way up the ladder from producer to reporter and eventually to co-host of the show.
And now, Therese is here in Toledo! Feel free to contact Therese on Twitter or Facebook.
